Welcome to Youth & Eco Life!
The association of citizens was founded in 1999 as “Eco Life” in Subotica by people who shared the vision that the environment should be protected and that ecological consciousness should be increased not only by raising awareness but by taking actions as well. Many community events (such as cleaning forests, planting trees, collecting garbage) were held throughout the years, mainly in co-operation with a local school for children with special needs. In 2004 a bigger group of young people joined the organization, so the activities were expanded with issues related to culture and youth. The mission got a new direction and the name of the organization was modified to “Youth and Eco Life”.
